freedBesplit v1.1©2004 Lewis Roberts

v1.0 - Initial release (freedb.org/Winamp generated playlist parsing only)
v1.1 - Added CUE file support and (some) error checking to cope with the change

I wrote this little util for a quick and easy way to make a command line for BeSplit (a program
built by DSPguru for splitting sound files). With my util you can enter a list of track times, be it from
freedb.org, a Winamp generated playlist or a CUE file and it will generate the command line for Besplit.
The coding is a little ugly and clumsy because I'm certainly no PHP guru but the script is functional
and it works. I'd like to release the code but I know sod all about GPL's and besides, I'm sure the laughing
wouldn't stop for a few months. The initial intention was to parse the search page but I aint that
good so Copy/Paste will have to do! :$

Instructions: (I assume some familiarity with Besplit)

  1. Paste/type in your source text (freedb.org/Winamp/CUE)
  2. If the source is from freedb.org copy ONLY the track list/times and paste
it into the box below (avoid the "total time:" text)
  3. Select the relevant file type and enter the input/output locations
    as appropriate.
  4. If you've submitted a CUE file check the CUE file option!
